A critical first step in this commitment is the improvement of the primary education environment in remote villages where children's ability to learn is inhibited by the most basic health and welfare concerns.

Latest Project


Friends of Honduras USA has acquired this 15,000 square-foot abandoned sewing factory for renovation toward the goals of our next major project. Though the building was abandoned ten years ago and has suffered from vandalism and exposure to the weather, the outer walls and floor are in good condition. In January 2019, we hope to complete the construction of the roof and interior walls and installation of the bathrooms and kitchen areas. Our intention is to provide services for improved health and wellbeing of residents of all ages within the community of Conception in the following ways:
